For our location in Bangalore, India we are currently seeking for Technical writers.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven and able to remain focused in a fast-paced environment. This is a chance for an experienced writer to work independently and develop and author complete product and technical manuals working directly with development engineers. He or she will be responsible for the development, authoring and maintenance of the documentation set for EndoSoft software products. He or she will work closely within a team of technical writers, as well as with development engineers, QA team, and product managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, edit and maintain technical documentation (installation guide, administration guide, end-user guide, etc.)
- Author key instruction updates on a time-critical basis
- Work closely with Development team, QA team, Technical Support team, and Product Managers
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- 2+ years professional experience
- At least one year of experience authoring with good exposure to Microsoft Office (all applications), Adobe Frame Maker, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, RoboHelp, HTML
- College degree with relevant technical writing or computer science coursework
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to produce release-quality documentation without technical editing support
- Experience analyzing product interfaces from a usability perspective in conjunction with the documentation workflow
- Excellentverbal communication in English
- Excellent grammar and spelling skills in English
