EndoVault® Receives CoN Certification

EndoSoft®, a leading healthcare information technology company has announced their application EndoVault® Meaningful Use Stage 2 Certified EHR has been granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) by the Department of Defense.

The CoN accreditation from the United States Army analyzes and ensures that EndoSoft’s products meet the strict Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards for security, compatibility and sustainability. All enterprise software products in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure Network require CoN certification, as do all the listed Army functional components that use the Army Enterprise Infrastructure, including National Guard, Army Reserve and other Army commands.

To guarantee that only the most secure, enterprise-grade products are running on its network, the US Army instituted the Certificate of Networthiness CoN. The Certification applies to all organizations fielding, using, or managing ISS on the Army Enterprise Architecture/LandWarNet (LWN), to include Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the- Shelf (GOTS). In accordance with AR 25-1, paragraph 6-8 activities must obtain a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) before they connect hardware/software to the LWN.ok
